What we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us through the forms on this site: your name, phone number, email address if you provide one, your city, and whatever you tell us about your system or your request. If you use the repair or replace estimator and choose to send us the result, the values you entered travel with it.

If website analytics are enabled, we may also collect standard usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring website, and device or browser type.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, schedule and perform service, provide quotes, and follow up about work we have discussed. We use aggregate usage information to understand how the site is performing and to improve it.

Text messages

Consent to receive text messages is optional and is never required to submit a form or to receive service. Where you opt in, we distinguish between non-marketing customer-care messages, such as appointment confirmations and technician updates, and marketing messages, such as seasonal maintenance reminders. Each is a separate choice.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

When you select either text-message choice, we keep the choice you made, the server receipt time, the Shark website page where the request was made, and the version of the disclosure shown with the form. We use this record to honor your choice and document consent.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, and this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Service providers and required disclosures

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the business, such as our customer relationship management platform, website host, and communications providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform that work. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics counts visits and traffic sources so we can improve this site. Counting is on by default with advertising storage disabled. You can turn it off with the Analytics settings link in the footer, and we honor Global Privacy Control.

Microsoft Clarity session recording loads only if you choose Allow recording. It helps us understand scrolling and tapping, and form fields are masked. If you change either choice, the page reloads to stop any running tool. Your choices do not affect your ability to call us.

Retention and security

We keep the information you provide for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and business record-keeping obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You may ask us to correct or delete the information you have given us, or to stop contacting you, by calling (941) 800-7064. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
